Hello, routine!

Hello, friends!  Wow! Last week was a bit of whirlwind!  I had a lot of fun hostessing a  challenge for Dare To Get Dirty at Splitcoaststampers,as well as playing along with many of the DTGD challenges.  Friday, I  drove our daughter to her first day of her sophomore year of high school and helped our son move into his college dorm for his freshman year.  Now it's time to get back into some sort of routine!

Here is a card I created for the last challenge of Dare To Get Dirty
in combination with Simon Says Stamp - Fabulous Florals challenge.

The background die was a gift from my sweet friend Janine.  You can find her amazing creations HERE.

Hello, friends!
It's my turn to post at Red Rubber Designs blog today!  I am featuring a rather clean and simple take on the beautiful 1920's Collage stamp paired with a sentiment from the Say Hello stamp set.  You will have to stop by Red Rubber Designs blog to see why I might need to take the sentiment to heart!  So that's enough of a tease from me.

Here's a  look at the fabulous stamp sets featured today:

Thanks for popping in, now I hope you will hop on over to Red Rubber Designs blog to see my project.  :)

Teapot Tuesday

Hello and happy Tuesday everyone!
It's been a busy summer full of excitement at our house!

A Day to celebrate

A week of intense play

 A 16th Birthday Celebration

College Orientation

Plus several shopping trips for the new school year and countless chauffering opportunities for teen get-togethers has made for a dazzling summer!

As our summer nears the end with school daze less than two weeks away, I took a little time out from all the dazzle to refresh my soul with a little art.   I played along with Teapot Tuesdays and this week's Featured Stamper challenges at Splitcoaststampers.

My teapot and cups were made with Brilliant Red Brusho then die cut and placed on a background I created with an Elegant Writer pen. To show off the pretty Brusho cups and teapot I cut away the solid handles and spout on the white decorative layers.   The "Decorative Tea Time" dies add fun texture to the tea set so I am adding this to Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge which is to Add Texture!
